We were delighted to be part of the Great Cornish Food Festival again this year; after 100 years of ice cream making, it’s exciting to still be very much at the heart of Cornwall’s thriving foodie scene.
We always love talking to visitors about the quality Cornish ingredients and traditional processes that go into making our clotted cream ice cream. This year, the #KellysIceCream Photo Booth allowed visitors to get snap happy and prolong that summer feeling with an ice cream. Trewithen Dairy’s Trewdy the Cow made an appearance too! In return for a scoop of ice cream, we asked visitors to make a donation to the children’s wards at the Royal Cornwall Hospital and we’re proud to announce that we raised a grand total of £1,382. A big thank you to all who donated!
Our afternoon sundae making sessions in the Discovery Zone were a big hit with young and old. We discovered that an infinite amount of marshmallows and chocolate buttons can be piled on a Kelly’s ice cream sundae!
Hope to see you there next year!
