Packed full of deliciously creamy Cornish ingredients, our ice cream is more or less ready for scooping straight from the freezer. Allow to thaw for just a minute before attempting your perfect scoop.
Try running your scoop under warm water, shake to remove any excess water before inserting it into the ice cream. Repeat between scoops and you will simply glide through our dreamy ice cream!
Here at Kelly’s we recommend using a solid metal scoop – this helps to retain the heat of the water and ensures for a strong scooping action!
Place the tub on a flat surface with the narrow end facing you. Insert the scoop at the far end of the tub and slowly pull the scoop towards you, holding the end of the tub with your other hand to ensure it doesn’t slip. Using a smooth, yet strong motion, the ice cream will naturally curl into a perfect scoop.
All our flavours are perfect to serve straight into a cone or simply enjoyed scooped into a bowl. Kids can top with sprinkles and extra sauce, whilst adults can enjoy a more sophisticated dessert with a dash of fruit liquor and a sprinkling of fresh berries!
