Kelly's of Cornwall
These are an indulgent treat, especially served with Kelly’s Clotted Cream ice cream.
Makes 12 brownies
375g unsalted butter
375g dark chocolate
1tbsp vanilla extract
500g caster sugar
225g plain flour
- Preheat the oven to 180°C and line an average sized roasting tin with baking parchment.
- Melt the butter and chocolate together in a large bowl set above a pan of simmering water. Beat the eggs and sugar together in a separate, very large bowl.
- Add the chocolate mixture and fold in the flour.
- Pour into the prepared tin and bake for exactly 25 minutes. Remove from the oven and allow to cool in the tin before cutting into squares.
Serve with Kelly’s of Cornwall Clotted Cream Ice Cream
